Fairfax Hills Summer Parade

We will be celebrating the first weekend of Summer with a neighborhood parade and park social June 24th. The parade will begin at 10 AM, end around 11 AM at the park, followed by a party where smoked brisket and pork sandwiches will be served along with hot dogs and cool treats. (Kids, bring your own soakers, water guns and balls to start up a game of water tag or soccer.)

Everyone can participate! You can be in the parade or watch it. Consider decorating riding mowers, bikes, golf carts, convertible cars, trucks, trailers and even your dogs! Feel free to invite friends and family as well.

The route will begin at the park, head East on Kingwood and back up Fairfax, ending at the park once again. Please be aware that Kingwood and Fairfax will be blocked off from 9:45 AM until the parade is over, approximately 11 AM. (Please see the City’s diagram below.)

If you have questions, would like to be in the parade, watch or volunteer to help, please contact Christine at 503-806-6240 or christine.nishiguchi@gmail.com.
